Positive Tension’s Adjustable Grip Kit includes everything you’ll need to improve all facets of your grip strength.

The adjustable-tension gripper provides a range of resistance from 10kg to 60kg, allowing you to gradually progress your power grip.

The grip ball is designed in an egg-shape, so that it can be oriented to work on spherical grip, pincer grip, thumb flexion and finger adduction, with different widths of grip and resistance.

The finger exerciser provides the ability to work on individual finger flexion strength, with or without simultaneous power grip activation.

Ask your hand therapist, exercise physiologist or physio for exercises to suit you or choose from our individual exercises to find the right exercises for you.

PT GRIP ADJUSTMENT AND SAFETY

The resistance of the adjustable tension gripper can be increased or decreased by turning the grey dial on the end of the horizontal bar.  Turning it anticlockwise shortens the spring making it easier to squeeze, clockwise stretches the spring increasing resistance.  Each full revolution of the dial increases the resistance by 2.5kg.  

Look after your PT Grip Kit and it will help you for years to come. Watch out for sharp finger nails which can damage the egg ball and keep fingers (especially those of children) away from potential pinch points in the Gripper and Finger trainer.

Be sure to consult your health practitioner before performing exercises with the PT Grip Kit, especially if you have pain or have had surgery on your hands.
